First (Past The) Post.....
In an attempt to keep my site up to date with cool content and informative news I'm switching to a blog based system - powered by Blogger. "No... Not A Blog!!", you say in disgust for the most overused buzzword of 2005... but yes, it is a blog.
Hopefully this will allow me to add fresh content to the margeson.ca on a consistent basis, and who knows, maybe get a few more people visiting the site. Although I really don't want anymore people visiting the site - other than those I see on a regular basis anyway.
ok... I know I'm new and I'm just learning this Blogger site and all, but I think it's pretty nifty (yes nifty) to have a built in spell check program. I do have one quick suggestion to Blogger (or rather Google now I suppose) add the words "blog" and "blogger" into your dictionary for the Blogger website !!! I just ran spell check for the above two paragraphs and couldn't believe it when it wanted to replace them for bloc and blocker respectively. Yes Bloc, as in Quebecois. Oxford has added Blog and Blogger - why can't Blogger?
I just realized that over time, I'll probably set a Blogger record for the number links to Wikipedia and/or IMDB.
You know how Q107 has a tool of the day, maybe I should do the same sort of thing but call it bastard of the day... or dumbass... or [insert creative idea here]. Just mentioning Bloc Quebecois gets me going on Gilles Duceppe. Aside from my feelings on the Quebec issue, I just feel his talents are a waste. He's one heck of a speaker; passionate in his convictions; and it seems, a pretty good politician (social democrat too). If only he would change his mind, and realize that what's in Quebec's best interests are also the best interests of Canada, he would make a great Prime Minister of Canada. So here's to a great Prime Minister who never was....
